After a long and happy career in journalism for regional newspapers, I have swapped my notebook and pen for a canvas and paintbrush. 

​

I was looking for a statement piece of art to go in our bedroom but all the commercial art we looked at just wasn't doing it for me.

​

Thought I might at some point get round to creating something myself, then one day woke up with a burning desire to paint again.

​

Creating Wave reignited something in me that I'd never really given the time to breathe. And I haven't been able to put my paintbrush down since.

I hope you find some pleasure from my art. It is certainly a pleasure creating it.
